Thank you for discovering my project. My name is Adriana and to get to know my story better and why I created the "Human Connection Gatherings" click on this link.

The first gathering will take place in the province of Malaga, Spain. We will be staying in a beautiful rural house situated in Sierra de Alcaparaín Mountains, 5 km from the town of Ardales. I will be sharing my experiences in being a journalist and about the art of storytelling. Stories help us connect, and most importantly teach us about each other and our surroundings. We will also have our own chef cooking local sustainable meals from the region, and you'll also have a chance to cook with him. And we have a special treat: a guided tour on "El Caminito del Rey," and plenty of beautiful hiking trails nearby.

What’s included in the price:
*Accommodations (four days and three nights). Three bedrooms with king-size beds (to share with your partner or friend) and one bedroom with four beds which are spaced out two meters from each other. Contact me to arrange the rooms and to find out about ages and gender of people attending.

*Transportation: If coming from Malaga, you'll get the bus from there to the town to Ardales. Once in Ardales, we'll pick you up to take you to the house.

*Wholesome and nourishing Andalusian meals and snacks (a questionnaire will be sent out before the gathering to learn about your food intolerance, preferences, and allergies). Also, time spent cooking a meal with the chef.

*A discussion about the art of storytelling- How our stories help us connect with others. After the gathering, I will interview you on my podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/human-caos/id1508565723

*Guided tour on El Caminito del Rey and a hike on the CAPELLÁN-CALVARIO-TURÓN-CAPELLÁN trail.

*Communication throughout the year to maintain the connections made at the gathering. A Facebook group or some other platform will be used to create a community with the people who participated in the gathering.

Pricing:
The total price is 347,27€. Please register on this website and pay via PayPal using email: [email protected] or send me an email [email protected] to pay via bank transfer. I will provide you with an invoice.

Important note about COVID: Before entering the house your temperature will be taken, and we will give you hand sanitizer and gloves. Please bring your masks! All activities like eating, workshops, and others we will make sure there's a two-meter distance from others. Also, if sharing a room we will make sure the beds are at a two-meter distance from each other. All employees follow the guidelines set up by Spain's Ministry of Tourism.  We have also limited the gatherings to ten people due to the measures of not having groups of more than ten people.

With countless crops flourishing at this time of year, immerse yourself in the abundance of fall with the many farms nearby. You'll savor fruit, vegetables, and herbs bursting with flavor. You'll enjoy farm-to-table meals with an Andalucian flavor prepared by our in-house chef, using ingredients sourced from the farm and locally whenever possible, and served with love and family-style. On one special day, the chef will even invite you to join him in cooking a complete meal and teach you about the nutritional value of each ingredient.

The beautiful rural house is situated in Sierra de Alcaparaín Mountains, 5 km from the town of Ardales. The house features a seasonal backyard pool shared between 4 country houses. Free private parking is available on site. The house is equipped with a fireplace and a wood-burning stove. Sierra de las Nieves Nature Reserve is 25 km away and Turón River is a 5-minute drive away. Ardales is typical white village ‘pueblo’ situated in the beautiful rural countryside of Andalusia, in the province of Malaga.

The town is surrounded by a series of lakes and reservoirs; the landscape of soft, undulating hills and olive groves make way for the dramatic background of the Ronda Mountains. Ardales is an excellent destination for those looking for a real Andalusian experience.
